8. Visit Anne Frank House

If you’re a fan and have read Anne Frank’s diaries, this museum is a place you want to visit. It’s where Anne Frank and her family hid from the Nazis for two years. The front of the house is now a and the back annex has been preserved to show visitors what life was like for Anne and the families she hid with. The number of people allowed inside is limited, so make sure to book you spots online ahead of time. Add this to your to do in Amsterdam.

9. Red light district

One of the most debatable and talked about streets in Amsterdam. This area is known for the red neon windows that display barely-dressed prostitutes advertising their services. Whether you choose to go there or not, you should behave according to the rules: no photos or videos allowed.

As you may already know, Amsterdam is known for its open policy of soft drugs which is served legally in coffee shops : Bulldog café is the most famous one.

Two thing I never leave Amsterdam without having and you shouldn’t: Potato wedges cones and Pork ribs; try “De Nachtwacht” and “Grill Restaurant El Torado”, my favorite ribs restaurants.
